solar I would imagine. You can get little lights to put around your van so you don't trip over ropes etc. they charge in the sun during the day. Maybe something like that could be done for lights around the awning.

I have strings of solar lights to light up the outside of my van but mine are white.

After seeing that...I've decided to buy some colored ones. biggrin
