Australian Hino 145 vin number

Hi hello hino owners.'

I need to purchase some parts for my Hino 145A 1988 vintage but Hino Australia will not even talk to me as I have an imported vehicle.

Does anyone own a Australian built bus of a similar vintage that would be prepared to PM their vin number so I can order the parts and take the risk they are correct.

Regards

Brian

Hi "the Rocket" MY Vin is on the rego sticker but it is a Japanese number as the bus is a Japanese build and Hino Australia refuse to talk to any owner of an imported vehicle.
If you did not buy an AUST one then stiff pooo pooo's

The only way to get parts is to tell them you own a AUST model and give them a valid number. So you need a VIN for a similar bus etc. The part I am after is a casting for the exhaus brake and it is a generic part for most vehicles of that era using a similar motor but they will not even open the part book for you to look.

I am trying to get a part in from Japan.

Thanks All

Regards
Brian

Thanks Bill but I now have a Aust Vin now so I can baffle them with science.
I am waiting for a brake slave cylinder and have waited 3 weeks so far for it to come from Japan. So much for their service LOL.
Regards
Brian
