Can anybody recommend a 'packing list' app please?
I notice that there are a few available .. most you have to buy and there are several for free but would like a recommendation especially if it's a paid for app.
Would much prefer a free app.

If you get wikicamps it has a campsite list plus a chat forum this will help you plus you can add to the list,
I add a battery drill and along mason drill bit so you can drill a hole which helps when you need to drive a peg into hard ground
Thanks for that gst but have the wikicamps on one of the phones, which is Android and don't really want to put it on the iPad hence looking for a standalone app. I'm all thumbs when it comes to typing on the small phone.
Good idea for taking along a mason drill bit as well. Will add that to the packing list.

After downloading and looking at several packing list apps, I finally settled on a simple and easy app that has a master list (Plan a Long or Plan a Short trip). It's called Travel Check List.
I've used the 'Plan a Long Trip' from the master list which has items already included in each section. I then went through and selected items that we would need for our upcoming trip (you have the choice of deleting items and/or adding to) and then saved that list to a name of my choosing.
You can also add new sections eg: I've added a new section for our dog and added items as in his vaccination card, toys, food bowl etc etc.
It does cost 99 cents.
Cheers
