Yep, just felt an earth quake here in down town Wonthaggi, felt about the same as the one a few weeks ago and lasted about 30 seconds and as I type this just got what I spose is an after shock not as bad and about 5 seconds.
A few photos on the wall have turned a bit but still there.

The world is coming to an end. Mt. Tongiriro is rumbling. They have had numerous earthquakes under the mount since middle of July. They usually only get 2 a year in that area. If that blows NZ goes under. So where does that leave the rest of us. lol

Could be a lot worse than you think mate ??/ What if it's wombat burrowing up for a visit ?
There,s a song called "I feel the earth move under my feeet, I feel the sky tumbling down" by Carol King, I think. We might have some bad waether , here , in NQ, we don,t get a lot of earthquakes.(perphaps only when the pollies turn up.). Bill

It seems the earth is really moving. There are little tremors all the time, and most of us wouldn't feel them. These more recent quakes, since Christchurch and Japan, SE Asia and a few around Oz seem to be much bigger movements. Maybe that's why the globe is warming. Who knows what goes on under the sea? Hang on there Doug. I have a mate living at Coronet Bay. I like that stretch of coast but it's so bloody cold!

We had a couple of smaller tremors during the night but now thinking about it, it might have been me trembling in my bed with the fear of wombat under the house by then. The first report was the epicenter (spelling) was in Moe again.
I'll try Sheba.
No, not the tunnels Jules. They seem to be full of water.
Oh no Marj, that would mean no more "All Blacks" Who would the Aussies play then???
Never thought of wombat, Daryl. I had better be careful where I walk in the morning.
Chrissy, you are not wrong, it is bloody cold down this way, usually windy and wet as well....and it is.
Bill, good song too, you might not have earthquakes but you sure do have cyclones and they put me off moving up there to live closer my my daughter and grandchildren. My stress levels wouldn't cope mate.
Wombat, if it is you sneaking around under the ground, could you at least be more careful when digging please mate.
