There is a new RV camping area just about to be opened in Gunnedah. It has been long awaited. Located in the old Showground Caravan Park in South Street Gunnedah GPS location S30.58.719 E150.14.705 the new liceneced site has powered sites at $12.00 and unpowered at $10.00 hot showers, shady trees, pet friendly, can cater to big rigs, has water and some sullage points to sites, and a brand new dump point. Max 72 hour stay.
Thats a turn around from the story a little while back that due to the mining boom campers in free camps in the general were told by council to POQ, as they were not wanted in the town.
