Mrs Brown's Boys

For anyone wanting a really good laugh tonight, you gotta watch Mrs Brown's Boys. Its got to be the funniest series I have seen on TV in a long while.

I agree 200% Marj, it sort of reminded of the Graham Kennedy sketches many moons back.

I started watching last week and soon turned off.  I'm not a prude but too much swearing to make it enjoyable for me.

The language appears over much, but I have in laws from that part of the world who speak pretty much like this. I loved the ad lib parts which totally 'threw' the other actors and the crew.

It appeals to my sense of humour. I have not laughed so much for ages. I love it. All I can say to tonight's episode is OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not my type of show, too much bad language and I cannot understand the accent, this type of program should be banned.biggrin

PS I have to copy it so that I can reply it as many times as I want, already watched it 4 times, I agree with you Marj, not enough programs like this anymore, we shoul all send an email to the station to make sure they do not take it off.

Loved the bikini wax part.

I am going OT here. Oh dang, it may get me sent to the naughty room. Talking of TV, if you have seen the TV ad for Worksafe Vic. "The Pain Game". The young man that spins the wheel ( cheesy grin, white teeth) is our son.  He's part of the Melbourne Impro group. The only claim to fame we have is him.smile Maybe because I don't post too often I will be excused from attending that room that some others attend on a regular basisawwLOL

I am sure I saw an advert for it to be on again tonight. Its not in my TV Guide so can't help on times or where.
Maybe if you watch it a 2nd time Doug, you might get it. Haha!! I would love to watch it again, if I can find it.

Kevin, thats fine, you can post here. It is a TV topic. Must keep an eye out for that advert. Doubt if it will be shown up here in Qld as it is Worksafe Vic, but you never know.
Thanks wombat, will check that out.

one of our favourite shows, we have both series with us and can watch them over and over.... not too sure if they'll make more... did you know that they are all family? all related? They started as a stage show and still do them now... I am hoping they make more of it :)

All good ones there Kaid, the Carry On movies, Open All Hours, Dick Emery, Benny Hill (some), Fawlty Towers (some), the list goes on.

Mrs Brown just doesn't do it for me...

Looks like Wombat reckons we're over the hill, so how old are you Wombat I'm 62?
