Guess what I am

I stood next to the river and heard a really weird sound, I saw the larger bird but the noise was not coming from that one.. then I saw a fuzzy blob swimming my way, this bird blended into the river so well... I got my camera out and started to take photographs... to my suprise the little tacker swam right up to me, got out of the water stood no more than a few inches away, squarked, flapped its wings at me, turned around and got back into the water.... I could not believe it, unfortunately when he got so close to me I forgot to click my camera and just stood there open jawed HAHAHAHAHA took me forever to find out what it was... I shall tell you soon... but here it is... a friendly little thing :) Oh I think I shall pop a few on here for you to take a good look...
