Hi all,
I am flying to Australia in November. I am flying into cairns.
I have plans to travel down the coast to Sydney.
Do you think its possible to travel for six weeks on what 5000$aus that would be for food travel etc.
If anyone wants to give me tips on were to go , places to visit, hostel to stay in and the possibility of surviving on were 5000$. I am goin for a year
I plan on settling and finding a job. Any tips on were to settle down e.g. Good but cheap night life, safe places?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to Australia Jack,
just apply to the federal government and they will supply you with all you need, shelter, money, food, clothes, car and a protection visa no need to work, don't even have to learn the language we have interpreters free of charge.

Jack. I admire your sense of adventure. But Jack in answering your question you need to provide some solid details. Suggest you buy a lonely planet book on australia down under. As I dont know where you are coming from, it is harder to give you facts that would be relevant to you. Good luck.

Lynette, you need to read his details. Jack Smith from Sri Lanka. I don't think so. What pet is he bringing with him is my question, perhaps a monkey.

You & your dog are most certainly welcome at Pomona Showgrounds.  20 mins.  Noosa.  And, a lovely country town Pomona has a lot to offer.

Cheers

First of all M8..

Join the labor party, I think there is an online application form.

Dont fly in, come by boat.

Be good if you have a bullet hole or two; somewhere other than your head.

M8, I think you are having the forum on.

If you are not; I appologise.

Dont bring pets unless pre-cooked and frozen.
