Heading eastward in a weeks time!

So... being really new to this whole "grey nomad" thing but not to long distance driving...

Im heading eastward in a weeks time... will leave here (Australind) on Monday for Kalgoorlie to spend a few days with the daughter then Im off...

So anyone heading that way? want to tag along for a short time/long time... I will be wandering rather badly not rushing at all will be camped up somewhere by 4pm and wont be stirring to leave till 9am at the earliest... depending on whats wherever I am could stay an overnight or a week!!

Im traveling alone and enjoy doing so but also enjoy company so if any of you want to meet up along the way... Norseman ****lebiddy WOW It didnt like that place!!! anyway wherever will cover it! biggrin ... let me know and we can say gidday and either travel along for a bit or not as we both may choose smile

No dramas either way... if you see "me lady" (avatar) hit the horn, wave yer arms off or stop and say gidday!! biggrin

Cheers

Shane

Welcome and good travelling - see you have done a couple of posts - time of year to be heading north - so keep in touch, lots of us will be around the traps, and welcome newbies to the lifestyle.

biggrin heading to the northlands? mmm mate Ive just LEFT the northlands after some years up in the Kimberley... time for the east coast methinks! smile

Although... given the cold and wet of the east coast of recent times I may yet change my mind as I keep telling the kids "I dont do cold and wet" so could be that I'll be back in Broome in a couple of weeks as I pass through toward Darwin and do the loop backwards!!! biggrinbiggrin
