Well there goes the serenity! Bloody campers just in front of us only just started their NOISY generator to run a few fluoro lights! So much for consideration of other campers!
You should have been there a few weeks ago Sue when a family had a full sized fridge in their tent and ran it full time on a generator. Now that was a sight.
Ahhhh - the serenity we privileged enjoyed at Greens - all quiet for us - nothing to ruin the contemplation of the lovely surrounds. Moved from there to another wonderful spot - Macquarie Woods - between Bathurst and Orange in NSW - a huge area for campers - toilets - beautiful surroundings, met up with Jonathan - and Norma (Shadyandme) and Michael (Nu One), arrived the day after us - and all for free!!!! Still - it is Easter and school holidays, so it would be much the same anywhere I suppose. Enjoy the lake guys - catch some fish - Billeeeeeee and Michael caught some - and they were delicious, even the carp - done Billeeeeee's special way - yumbo!!!

Brings back the memories. If I get up that way I'll call in for a visit if that's ok. Only met one of you who is up there at the moment, Jimbo but Missed Mrs Jimbo n would like to meet her and others who may be around. Hope to see u over the weekend. Tess
No probs Tess. We'll be here hopefully, if we can put up with the generator! It was finally turned off at 2.45 a.m. After I spoke to them. They had the cheek to say they were on holidays too! I said so's everyone else and we don't want to listen to generators all night!
For anyone that was going to come out for a catch up, we're going into Rushworth for a little while saturday but will be around other than that. Jimbo is camped just near the toilet blocks, and we're a little further along in the old white and green caravan. We have a little green Mazda and a red rodeo. Call in and say hello :)
With winter coming on Ole_Grizzly, I doubt if many will be around at Greens Lake for much longer after this long weekend. Bring on November and you will see them in droves.
I left on Monday....Temp dropped to around 12 cels and the wind and Rain...I was going to stay till Tuesday but when it's cold at greens it's bloody Cold.
