Hello, I remain optimistic. Your faithful bike will find you. Report the loss  to the police and hopefully whoever found it will be honest enough to hand it in. I know I would. good luck.

So sorry to hear of your sad loss Jimbo. One minutes silence done!
I thought you carried it inside the bus. I remember watching you lift it inside one time.
Heathcote to Corop is not too far of a distance. Someone might pick it up for you, or for themself. Fingers crossed for you.

Sorry to hear about your bike Jim. It's a valuable piece of equipment for you as was the rack. Even if you did find it I reckon it would be in bits.
I had my pushy stolen earlier this year, off the A frame, during the day, while I was in the van. Sneaky b...stards!.
I reported it to the cops but nothing happened.
Anyone want a bike rack to fit on tow bar?
I had a tow tongue welded on to the back bumper of the van for the rack, so it has to go now.

Meanwhile there is someone somewhere trying to explain to insurance how a low-flying rider-less bike became his hood ornament.

"There I was minding my own business, doing nothing wrong when all of a sudden this nasty brute of a bike came out of nowhere and mounted my car head-on".

Oh no Jimbo,

That's tragic. I was very envious of your little bike.  Would love one. You'll have to camp higher up the hill so it's not too much of a climb to the toilets.

I rang GIO re our insurance the other day.

Seems the van insurance only included $500 for contents, and the home contents insurance did not cover anything we took away with us....... bit of a surprise that.

Good thing I realised before I needed to claim!

Clever buggers- they cover your wallet, if its stolen as a result of a BREAK IN to the van, not the annex, and not if its unlocked, etc..... and not the content of the wallet. How sneaky is that.

He also said there were restriction on contents cover- only battery powered stuff. Hmm, said I, that's everything as we are rarely connected to 240 volt mains power..... made him check that one with his supervisor lol.

We had quite a good chat that young bloke and I- poor fellow had a bad morning, but I got what I wanted.

taken on our travels, this one was at a honey farm I think it was QLD, it was just sitting in their driveway, and being a wombat Ithought that may come in handy, and it did, so good to help jimbo find his bike, its a shame somebody had stolen the battery & motor before we go to it  biggrinbiggrin
