Gidday all, we are taking off tomorrow for Nug Nug Camping reserve, near Myrtleford Vic. For the Easter break.
Anyone been there ? whats it like? will it be crowded or is there plenty of room ?, any info appreciated, but we are going anyway, as i have heard about this place for years it sounds interesting, and now is the time for me to find out, Many thanks dazren.

I would have thought anywhere would be busy this coming weekend, but you are going on Wednesday maybe get there early to get a spot, I'm going to Fremantle, may even have a wee on their beach
I was there for three nights last week. It is a great spot. Plenty of powered sites. Cold showers. Toilets and good clean river water available from taps. Lovely place. I expect it will be busy during Easter.
Nug Nug just out of Myrtleford , a fantastic place to base yourself and drive to Bright & surrounds. $5 per person & $5 for power . There are flushing toilets, tennis courts and a creek. We stayed 10 nights and loved it!
Thanks for the reply bev and Bruno,, However my post was 3 years old [ april 2012 ] But you are right, it is fantastic, we went there in 2012, and we have been back there at least another,8 times,, it is a very special safe place to go,
