HW, no looks like the window was not completly clean, the area needs to be cleaned with and solution of water and white vinagar and then left to dry for a couple of hours.
I always use metho and try to do it in the sun so the glass is warm before putting my rego label or any other stickers on glass, seems to work. The heat from the sun helps the glue on the sticker adhere to the surface.

It happens all the time. I'm on my third set for the car. The caravan sticker is under an awning so it's not exposed to the sun and heat. I've always applied mine in the sun and on to warm glass, but they still seem to curl and go brittle. So far Cindy has very kindly sent me replacements.
The flag idea is a beauty, but the letters need to be more distinct from the background. The sign I can see here as a cluster of letters with the shadow and not easily defined. Maybe the flag should be an extension of the sticker design. We already know what to look for and the profile would be easily recognisable from a distance.

You should know wombat by now AC, he mentioned them way back by now. I have one but not like that, it just has my contact details, I only give to those I feel I can trust. Gut feelings come into it I spose.
