Thumper of a Headache!!!

There has been a few threads on here before about sun spots etc, and I had mentioned that I had been to the clinic mob and been checked over, lots 'frozen' off my arms. But yesterday my GP froze one off the top of my head - man it hurt, he zapped it twice!! Why is this a big issue? Well, my mum had a massive melanoma on the crown of her head a few years ago, and surgery had to be done to cut it out, and of course they could only go so far, it caused concerns at the time, she has a heart condition, and dementia, but it was done, and so far it has not returned. So, yeah ..... I certainly didn't need to find a 'spot'. I have a big blister there at the moment, but thankfully the headache has gone - took a few panadol last night I don't mind telling you!

So please slip, slop, slap & chuck on a hat!!!!!

Be very careful not to catch it with your comb. Hope it heals well.

Oooh! June, that sounds painful... glad you got it before you followed in your Mums footsteps! Good luck with washing/combing your hair for a few days!

Was it just a sun spot or a bigger problem?
I'm sure it will heal and everything will be normal eventually, whatever "normal" is.
As we age our skin seems to bear the brunt on the outside, while our insides are having their own dramas and developments.
Take care.

At this stage it was a sun spot, but had the potential to become worse, so 'zapped' I got!! Pete's not convinced that I got my brain frozen - thought my brain was further south!! Hmm .... think I'll leave him at home next trip!

I guess like most of us, we 'lived' in the sun when we were younger not knowing the problems down the track back then, but just have to keep on top of the situation. As regards the insides CG, they are also falling apart and the stuffing coming out!!

Ah, but life is good and we intend to keep on keeping on. Hope to catch up with you 'on the road' somewhere, sometime.

Cheers

Take care. We are a melanoma conscious family too since our d-i-l had one removed at age 29. Slip slop slap and lots of check ups.
