My post in this thread was a reminder of an old saying, & thats all.
Not directed at any one, which it apears to be at GS.
I am clarifing this as this is what happened.
On that particular night we were having very slow internett service with dropouts.
The last post on here that I read was Milo's.
I then tried to reply, but with slow service & a couple of dropouts three other posts that I was unaware of; Landfall , Smokey & Wombat , have appeared before mine was sucussfully uploaded ,[ I did not return to that thread that night]. . which has put a totly different twist on the subject. I had absolutly no knowledge of the hand that had been dealt to GS untill a day later.
As said , nothing directed to GS, both brain & doreen are friends of ours & sorry to see them go. We meet the through this site, camped with them & had them stay over night on their way south a couple of weeks.
Again, it was an old one liner that goes back a long way

I didn't know GS was gone. He did seem to be having a hard time with something. I'm glad I wasn't the only one suffering from slow internet, or worse, none at all last Friday night. All water under the bridge I'm afraid. Done and dusted. That's the problem with misunderstandings and paranoia.
