My Ideas On Food

biggrin

I am probaly one of the worlds most boring eaters, I fully capable of cooking a storn to match the best , Im a simple fitter and turner, you know fit food into pots and turn it into well poo lol

I like the easy stuff I can sit down to a can of cold spag and a fork or spam and fork, I dont really care, however on occasions whilst camping I have turned out in the old dutch over stuff like marinated roast beefs, simple beef stews and dumplings, with a dutch oven the world is your oyster and im not talking the other dutch oven for all the smart arses, with the matching cast iron fry pan, eggs and bacon fried tomato, pancakes you dont need to have all the gear to turn out a meal fit for a GN lol, I see campers all the time with whizz bang barbys and webers and all the other comforts of home, costs a bomb, gotta be cleaned etc with a dutch oven and a frypan you can turn out exactly the same stuff for essentially bugger all in a cost comparison, this is merely my opinion though

I love pasta, that is why I cook it for my family. Pasta is my comfort food whenever I'm happy or sad. Yesterday, I made baked macaroni and it tastes good. I prefer carbonara because I love white sauce and garlic bread on the side.

If you cook what you love, you'll be a happy cook.
