With the new goverment subsidy available for sat phones it is now making them a cheaper safety aid then ever before, I am buying one to set up as prepaid and was wanting to hear your feedback on the best call pricing as there is just so many out there cheers Red Dog [Dave]

I pay a $1 a minute (prepaid) but dont care what it is really as if I need a sat phone, I really need a sat pnone. Dont use my for chit chat because the reason I am remote is to enjoy being away from technoligy including normal mobile phones.
cheers

The Government subsidy has been available for many years.
It is less than it used to be (and 'phones costless than they did).

Cheers,
Peter
