I thought I'd better start a new thread for this. Sorry JackMac, maybe you could transfer your photo's and post. confuse

I had a look at Cobb & Co Nine Mile Campgrounds on my way up to my sisters at Tin Can Bay.

It's 15 kms SE of Gympie. 6 kms of gravel raod, but I went in with my i30 no problem...I wasn't towing my Nipper, but couldn't see a problem with taking a caravan or motorhome in there. Toilets, showers, dogs allowed, only a couple of power outlets at the shed near the owners house. $10 per adult.

The owners are very nice...Sean said if their were a good few of us, they'd make the camp kitchen exclusive for our use.

I have photo's but as usual, I can't get them to upload. You can Google image to see what it's like. Those images are correct, except the lagoon wasn't so full. I saw several kangaroos too!

 That's true Marj. I should have actually gone in to check them out. They were the above ground NP type.
