My first turkey.... success

My first turkey was a huge success, and something we will do again.

To recap from a previous thred, I hate turkey, always found it dry and stringy, but this year we were given one.

I used Jamie Oliver's recipe with a bit of Nigella Lawson thrown in for good measure.

Beautiful, moist, sweet meat............yum. Even the kids like the stuffing.

I didn't stab the bird with the rosemary bits, and used bacon instead of pancetta. I covered the turkey with bacon rashers, and when I took it from the oven to rest, I squeezed the juice from the cooked orange all over it.

easy, and yum.

You just have to Click the Enter button immediately you have finished typing the link, or it won't work when you click on it.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Sheba you are great. I've noticed you always fix up the links for us. Keep on doing it because we obviously don't learn (or simply forget). Hope you had a good day today.

Thanks neilnruth.  Don't know why people don't take any notice.  Get a bit tired of telling people. On the other hand, it's frustrating to click on a link that doesn't work.  Can't they see that it's not underlined ?

Take care,

Cheers,

Sheba.
