dog registration?

Where do you register your dogs when full time on the road? my dog is currently registered with the gold Coast City Council, but I have no intention of living on the Gold Coast once I hit the road

How do you full time nomads do it

I have not registered my girls and to date have had no issues.  They are micro chipped though.

I think you need to register them somewhere it doesn't matter where you live. The most important thing is vacinations

Have one registered, there are 2 microchipped.  One is spayed.

Will be microchipping the 2 little ones,   and three of them will be spayed after new year.   They all have vacinations, and have had their flea meds, etc.

They are a lot of work, but I would be lost without them.

Wont be registering the rest, its a bloody rort.  Will have to keep paying for the one who is presently registered, as we got her from the council pound, but it costs a lot less because she is spayed.

I learned aged back not to travel without the vaccination certificates.... couldn't get into the Dubbo Zoo, as couldn't get the boys into doggie day care without proof of vaccination. Now they are in the glove box.

No one ever asks if they are registered though- I suppose if they got in to trouble, like wandering away or being aggressive (which they are not), the local council pound people would add a bit to the fine for unregistered dogs.

It costs less to do a life time registration, less for spayed/neutered and less for pensioners. I look at it like picking up dog poo, just something responsible pet owners do.

I brought my Dad's dog from Qld to NSW and the registration in Qld was $20 a year but it is around $40 for lifetime registration with my council in NSW.
