what a magic free camp tonight- Point Lowly just nth of Whyalla- right on Spencer Gulf with a view across the water to the lower Flinders Ranges - freshly caught squid for tea - very clean toilet block - can stay max 14 days - very clean flushing toilets and cold showers

Lovely spot.  Nice walk around the point to the lighthouse.

Did the launch from the fish farm come in while you were there?

It is a lovely spot .. when I was there it was a little crowded I just went a coupla k's further up the beach to another little spot with just a couple of toilets and water .. very quiet there !

Still a great spot. $8 to camp here now. Permits are at the Honesty Box at the Toilet block.
