Albert Namatira's Humble Home

A most humble home for one of our great australians, its around 100 Km's WEST of Alice Springs in the desert.2 small rooms, stone floor/walls .

Alberts Grave features a beautifully painted headstone by a local [alice springs] Aboriginal artist. Its Located in the OLD alice Springs Cemetery in the Middle of Town

RE: Albert Namatira's Humble Home (update)

IMG_7301.JPG  An updated photo taken last month.  The road from Hermannsburg to here and around past Tyler's Pass Lookout and around to Redbank Gorge (or visa versa) is now very good sealed road all the way.  The maps and most brochures still have it shown as unsealed.

Did you post the picture from your phone/pad? If so turn the phone/pad in the same orientation as you took the picture whilst doing the post.

Hi PeterD, No, I took the photo on my pocket camera turned sideways to portrait then downloaded the photos to my laptop. On the laptop these are right way up.
