This is a great spot for an overnight stay or two if you prefer....right in town.
They have designated a whole street for the traveller to park up....hot showers, toilets, rubbish bins, kitchen with free BBQ and power points for charging laptop/phone etc and a dump point nearby.
Additionally, they have added a new coin operated laundry.
You can walk through to the main street for shopping too, no need to unhitch and leave your van.
We stay there overnight last may ..was good then ..Few backpacker but lot of van,s were there even a tent or two right down the north end ... It good to see stop's over like this ..there should be more ..It must be better for local councils too keep all the travelers in one spot instead of park all over the town ...

Unfortunately there are a lot of travellers out there who don't know how to read signs and rules or just plain don't think it applies to them and will do whatever, whenever and however they desire.

Yes there were trains but I figure I know what they are so just roll over and go back to sleep. I find it is the unknown that disturbs me more.
