resizing photos

I am probably a bit dumb but could somebody tell me how to down size my photos. If you look at the pic that I posted in the photo competition you will see that it is too big.

Regards Rastas

I need things very simple.  Finally found a Resizer that is perfect for me.

Prish Image Resizer.

And it's a Freebie.

Cheers,

Sheba.

I just transfer my photo to my desktop, open it, edit and resize, don't know if that is the best or even the easiest way to do it but it works for me, I am pretty dumb when it comes to this stuff but as I said it is easy.

Now to confuse even more! as well as resizing you can also adjust the resolution of a pic to make it upload and open even quicker.
This can be done with a lot of programs. I use Photoshop and Paint shop pro but I am sure most digital cameras come with a program that can do just as well.
Photo Scape is a good free down load, you can batch edit, resize and lots of other good stuff. it is also easy to use.

just come across this it's a iResizer program but it is only FREE until tomorrow at 1500 in WA, you can download it in other states but be aware of the time differance.

I have been using this site for years and have some good programs from them, make sure you read the download instructions.

I have not downloaded this program yet But I will later today.
