I'll second SatPlus for the best service, order one day and you will have your item in 2-3 days time, I use the Victoria shop but the service would be the same for both I would think.

as Brian said have a look on their site http://www.satplus.com.au/pages/SatPlus-Queensland.html and just get the stuff you need.

This is the sat finder I use, great unit http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3-5-Color-LCD-Digital-TV-Signal-Satellite-Finder-Meter-/280696235521?pt=AU_PayTVEquipment&hash=item415acca601

Darling the problem is that unit will not function when analogue satellite TV is switched off. Darling there wont even be an analogue tunning channel left.

Darling dont make the mistake of buying the Minimax fold up dish thingmebob. Is a nightmare to align compared to the little tripod and dish. Darling I have to help all the time those that got sucked into buying the Minimax to get it setup. When they see how quick and easy the little tripod is to lock on the signal they sure get upset they got sold a sour plumb.

Darling this little dandy satellite finder can be told to only recognise C1/D3 and you wont see the other satellites. Darling this sure makes things so easy and quick. http://www.satplus.com.au/products/SF3239-Posi-ID-Digital-Meter.html

the unit I use is for digital NOT analouge, I do not run analoge.

the unit from SatPlus is almost the same as mine except the you do not need to have the leads connected to my unit only one lead and it shows the picture on the little screen then you connect up the decoder and dish after the signal is found.

the only differance with the SatPlus one is that it is more expensive, not a lot but it is.

I do agree with you Jacko about that dish it is useless

Darling Wombat the Satplus unit comes with a battery box so you dont have to have the leads connected.

Darling Wombat your tuning meter unit when analogue satellite signal is switched off will not show the tuning channel on your screen.

This is a good system for a beginner but would change to a 65cm dish and upgrade to the digital satellite meter. Darling a big difference to store a 65cm dish compared a 75cm dish

Darling Jacko has looked at automatic roof top units. Darling speaking to those that have roof top units fitted many would not buy again. Darling while they are going they are good, however users say reliability and expensive repairs, wind loading on the roof, power consumption and trees all have to be considered.

Darling Wombat, Jacko loves Wombats as they are special. Darling reply from darling John at Satplus Qld 2 weeks past when looking to buy one for a friend for a present. "The new SF3239 will be arriving around the 22nd and we should have them here by the 26th.  They will be $139.00 and are a very impressive little unit.  Comes complete with the battery box as well"

that makes me special but did you look at the SatPlus site? and that video was made by the guys in QLD

don't get me wrong I am a very happy satPlus customer.

The unit I use is on ebay for $128.00 and has the battery built in, no need for a battery box
