The worst of it is that now it is easy to find it will become very popular!!

Which way are you heading from there?
It was great to see water in the Darling last May.
When I went through western NSW in 2006 the rivers were just a string of muddy puddles or bone dry. The river system right down to the Murray Mouth is now looking beautiful, and the Coorong has water in it again, after about 8 years of nothing and no fish.
Looking over the river to the flats across the river from Tailem Bend is a great vantage point to get a good impression of the river which was running a banker, with a little bit of flooding on the flood plain.

Gday...

Was at Mays Bend last year, about July, and the river looked great - really lovely spot. However, the road in was very rain effected with deep wheel ruts and the many 'detours' made by those who had gone in before were getting just as rutted as the 'main' track.

How is the track in now?

Cheers

John
