Caravan storage -between Wangatatta and Melbourne

Anyone know of reasonable van storage for a week or 2 anywhere between Wangaratta and outer Melbourne?

Have given up on trying to take the van into Melbourne as I can't find anywhere to stay in it with 2 dogs.

Hi Rose, Have you tried out Geelong way to stay with the dogs. Not sure who allows dogs but being a bit further out maybe there is something. Also when down there I have seen caravans stored in a paddock storage just out of Geelong. It was a while ago now so can't remember exactly where. Maybe someone can recall it. Think it was on the bellarine peninsula.

thanks Jimbo,
i want to leave the van for a week or so, and stay with friends close to the city. Not sure how safe it would be to leave the van in a free park.
I know there is a CP in Coburg, but don't want to pay CP fees when we won't be staying there.

I stored my campervan at Coburg for $12 night with power while I visited my son in Melbourne. That was in 2009. Maybe worth a try.

According to the RACV tourist park guide there are 3 parks in Melbourne that take dogs - one in Carrum Downs, another in Frankson (I think they are both Discovery Parks) and also Apollo Tourist Park - I think it is in Craigieburn.

The Craigieburn one no longer takes vans (2011) all cabins only
