Having a new campervan conversion done recently, I notice that my new Waeco 12/240V 80Litre fridge had a twisted door seal on the inside of the fridge door near the hinge side bottom. The fridge is under warranty.
I was given a number to ring of a chap called Kevin at a new Dometic/Waeco Branch in Perth northern suburbs at 12 Prosperity Drive, Wangara (Tel: 9209 3033), this industrial and commercial suburb is about 25 kms north of Perth near Wanneroo Road.
I rang Kevin and attended this new Branch which is in a new part of the industrial estate and what an eye opener it was. This new Dometic/Waeco Branch was a new large two storey building/warehouse with a reception and a spare parts counter downstairs and a huge showroom upstairs with all the latest Dometic/Waeco products on display. I assume the Warehouse section behind this were for distribution of their products to WA agents etc. All of this was behind a substantial security gated fence around their outside parking area.
Please note this is a State Branch of Dometic/Waeco, not an agency, but a National Branch, so a positive move by them for their WA agents and consumers.
Kevin inspected my fridge, got his tool kit and removed my fridge seal which was ok but was being crushed out of shape by a the door when closing due to the bottom catching on the frame of the main part of the fridge, as the bottom of the door hinge was not adjusted properly. After resetting the door and seal all is now the way it should be. Thank you Kevin, one happy consumer here. :D
He also gave me a tip and said to give the hinge side door seal on any fridge (RV or Domestic) a light spray with Silicone on the contact part of the seal which will help it ride over the main fridge frame which have a slightly raised join on them which seals can catch on.

No I didn't Mike, but give that number a ring I've put on the thread, they would be able to tell you. The upstairs showroom is huge, I only went upstairs to use the loo in the showroom, only had a walking look as I went by, and then went back down to help the bloke with my fridge (he had to take it fully out of the cabinet work to work on the door properly.....very tricky in a squeezy campervan....took two of us to lift it out....)
If they don't have one I am sure they would get one in if only to keep on display etc......
