hi all i just got my local paper,and it seem's like one local council is being proactive logan  city (between brisssie & gold coast) are currently considering  opening up 3 sites for FREE overnight stays,maybe if we all drop them a line it might help things along

I just emailed the council and thanked them and told them I will be spending heaps there on October this year......

I live in Logan City and our Mayor is a wonderful person and works so hard for the city. I'd say this is a move to improve the image of Logan.

And it's so handy for anyone who wants to visit the Gold Coast or Brisbane too.

 Every time someone says to me "oh! you come from Logan" I tell them I have liv ed there for 30 years and that I am a Logan bogan and proud of it.

I tell them to look at the sreeetscape in the city and ask them what other council has anything to compare with it.
