MAKIN' TRACKS

Its time to make some more wheel tracks; leaving in a day or two & heading west from Grafton via Glenn Innis , Inverel, Moree, Lighting Ridge etc, southern QLD & back down to Bourke ,B/Hill & over to the Flinders.

Then the unknown, Just take it as it comes & back home by xmass. Hope to meet some GN's on the way.

Cheers; J & L.

If you head Adelaide way from the Flinders don't drive past the van part without calling in for a cuppa at least.
If I'm here I'll put the kettle on.
Sounds like a fantastic trip, again.

I can recommend the Inverell Caravan Park. That's the name of the park, there are two other parks in town, I have been told that these are good parks too. ICP is the closest to the CBD, is very well run and kept spotlessly clean, rates are reasonable and they do a reduced rate for solos. My information current at Easter 2010 when I last stayed there. Inverell has a very good visitor centre. (disclosure: I know some of the staff at the centre)

The best place to stay in Inverell is the showground on the Tingha road just over the bridge off the Gyder hwy. $15.00 a night clean modern showers and toilets and a washing machine $2.00 (we used it 3 times and the caretaker said dont worry about it)

Good grassed sites and very close to city centre.

Many thanks to all for your well wishes.

Richo, I have friends that are based in Inverell & have stayed for some time at the IVC & spoke highly of it, thanks.

MA, Great to see you heading out again, hope all is sorted & you enjoy your trip as well.

Jandas fun, still enough barra in the freezer for this trip.smile

Going soon, Put the billy on!
