redarc battery charger and setec series 2


I have question i hope some one knock some sense as i have looked at different forums still make head or tails 

1. jayco sterling with a setec ST35/II 

2.bought a redarc bms1215 smart charger

3. upgraded to a 260 amp single battery agm 

question on the setec which wire do i remove for charging the battery, want to keep the rest of setec when connect to 240 v for 12 v stepdown 

please any help and bye the way wanna keep the system KISS

 If you want to work on the KISS principlal, get rid of the Setec. With the BMS1215 and a battery you have a complete sustem. Replace the fuses on the Setec with a new fuse block. If you really want to complicate things and retain the Setec, simply connect the BMS1215 output to the battery.

John, the brake controllers are the only real rubbishy product of theirs I have seen. Collyn Rivers was trialling the BMS, ask him how it went.

I've fitted a BMS1215 into our van last year and so far I'm very impressed with it...

I have personally found the Redarc people more than willing to help. My BMS was upgraded to the lastest specs for nothing, when I simplely asked for advise on it!!! 10 out of 10 for service
