Can any-one tell me why this is happening again lately.  It's happened before, but usually only last 1 or 2 nights.   This time it's been about a week so far.  Not stopping me from doing anything, just a nuisance.

What do you mean Sheba ???
All I can see is the Google screen ??

 

 

If you mean the line at the bottom of the screen, it may be that you monitor is on the way out

Sorry Dunco.  I should have said the Black Out on some of the Toolbars at the top.   Just thought people would notice.

The line along the bottom is just reflection.  It's not really on the Monitor.

Sheba, I'm wondering if you go into Control Panel and click on Toolbars and check if something is off there. You might have to turn something Like "Show Toolbar" Its just a suggestion. I haven't seen that happen before.

Or maybe something in there is disabled and you have to enable it.

try re downloading java and flash, might help..

try a right mouse click on the black area and see what options you get

The first 5 options are ticked Wombat.   Should anything else be ?   I've clicked on a few, but nothing seems to make a difference.

there should be one that says Customise click that and select reset default

When I click Customize, I get :-

Use Large Icons

Show stop and Refresh Buttons before Address bar

Show all Text Labels

Show selective Text

Show only Icons

Add or Reduce Commands

 

No sign of Reset default.
