Dave,
Unfortunately most tanks have the capacity on the top.
A quick phone call to Jayco should get you the answer you seek.
Cheers, Ozjohn.

Water tanks darling, water tanks.

Darling if you measure the tanks in CM LxBxH=Total Volume

Darling here is an example for you

80cm x 50cm x 15cm=60,000/1,000=60L  take off 10% for the baffles. There you go darling simple as and even blonde Jacko can do it. So darling no doubt you can do it.

Can't we dispense with some of the "darlings"?  Also I think the response trivialises a quite sensible and intelligent question from a very welcome newcomer to the forum.

It may be that the tank is not rectangular in shape or is located in a position where it would be difficult to measure.

I haven't had to do this so someone may have a "handy hint" but my suggestion would be to fill the tank then drain it into a bucket with a known volume (capacity).  It may be necessary to measure the capacity of the bucket first rather than assuming it's volume.  (Assuming a call to Jayco doesn't come up with an answer)

Ring Jayco Direct no sense talking to the the monkeys ( salesmen) when the organ grinder has the answers on tap may even pay to have the chjassie number on hand in case it was a special order and non standard tanks were fitted

As I said in my post. "Phone Jayco"!
And there you go. Just ask and your questions will be answered (most of the time).

Cheers, ozjohn.

The other way is to go to this page and compare the tanks listed.

RE: water tanks

If you measure length, width and depth. go to the following link and scroll down to the volume calculator section. This should help you out.
