I totally agree with you milo. Only got to 10 degrees here during the day, so cold my fingers have ached all day along with everything else. Having a nice warm chicken roast trying to warm up.

It was an average "winter" day here on Magnetic island, 25c to 11c, and not a cload in the sky. Move north in winter, and go south in summer.I know people will think I,m biased, but........ its true!

Just got a phone call from my daughter, they lost tiles off the roof and a tree down but didn't make it to the news as only just found it when they got home from work tonight. Waiting now for someone to come fix the tiles and the whole tree is to be cut down during the week.
They are in a completely different area of Echuca to the ones on the news.

Me too Milo.   All I want to do in Winter is hibernate.   I'm a Snake in the Chinese Horoscope, so maybe that explains it.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Winter never used to affect me. But nowadays I do seem to mind the very cold damp days.

Darlings Jacko loves winter. Darlings there is nobody around in winter and Jacko can have gorgeous locations all to her lovely self and park anywhere. Darlings this past week weather has been a little crook as Jacko has used a mighty 4l of diesel for heating. Darlings Jackos average diesel usage has been 2l a week. 4l of diesel is cheap camping in $1m location.

You're not wrong. Is there an 'ignore user' option? Quite honestly, it's all just too weird for me.

Put ginger on your cereal. Since I've started doing this last year my knuckles and other joints have been much better. Not perfect, but better and less painful. Half a teaspoon per day will do it. You can add it to your yoghurt as well.

Indeed, Ozjohn.
Has anyone got a phone number for Ross Garnaut, the bloke leading Gillard by the nose on this climate change nonsense?
I'd like to have a little chat about global warming.
That's if my fingers are not too cold to press the buttons on the phone.

I've noticed the term 'Global Warming' doesn't get used very much now. The term used is now 'Climate Change'.

My comment to the people that say we need to fix climate change is "Why? Without climate change we wouldn't have seasons.'

Weather and climate are two very different things. Cold this week is weather. Aveage temperatures over the last 50 years is climate.

Hey, that's a bit too technical for this little frozen grey matter - can we just say it's bl***dy cold please?

Got the fright of my life when we saw it had snowed in Orange yesterday - we were there last week!! Oh well, Tassie temps are warmer than Canberra's and we survived that.

No it doesn't have to be breakfast. It's just convenient on cereal, but you can add it to anything. It's great on vanilla yoghurt, cook with it or buy Osteosoothe tablets from the Health Shop.
You might need to google this product to find an outlet, or you can buy it direct from Buderim in Qld.
It does work for me, and if I can pass on some info which will relieve the stinging burn and weakness in the joints, then my job is done.

Alice Springs is down to about 0 overnight but when the sun comes out it is great about 18.
We need more freezing nights to kill off all the mice

Yeah I hate the cold but I also did some time in the stinking heat and humidity overseas & that really was a show stopper. At least when its cold you can pull on a jumper or whatever, in the heat and humidity you can't do much other than sweat - YUK!

Cant wait until my van is ready, if it were now I could take myself up to lovely down town DARWIN & rough it out there through winter
