Granny, it would be the large Ferris wheel that was constructed in the Docklands, Melbourne. Ran for a while then had a run of hot weather and it developed cracks, back to the drawing board, they are reassembling it now, can't be too far off completion..

Hi CG - That photo was taken on New Years Day & it was that hot.. The next 3 days were even hotter & then we got a cooler day & someone noticed that the welds were cracking. The ride consisted of one turn of the wheel. Because it revolves that slowly, people can get on & off easly & even wheel chairs. They are now starting to rebuild the framework.. When in Melbourne it will be worth going on, great views - even better than when first opened.....
