Never Milo. Hope you're not thinking about cancelling your Cruise. Everything different in life is an Adventure mate. Jump in with both feet, and enjoy every minute.
When you get back you'll wonder why you took so long to do it. And you might even start planning the next one, as soon as you are back home.
Yes milo. I was a blithering idiot when I left in Myrtle a month ago today. The neighbour came out to say goodbye, I was bawling my eyes out. He thought something was wrong. Just get out there and enjoy that cruise. I know you and your dad will love it. Then come back and tell us all about it.
Milo, we have cold feet but a tad different from you - at present down at Narrabri and I shall have to go put my bedsocks on to warm up the feet!!! But as for having cold feet re a 'different' type of trip - go for it, enjoy your cruise, will look forward to hearing all about it when you get back. For the first time we are having a go at some free camping as well as using Showgrounds - at present at Narrabri Showgrounds for $14/nt - toots and hot showers too.

You're both gonna LOVE it Milo. Did you know you can Pre-pay by the week for Cruises now ? Prices start from $10.00 per week, depending on the Itinerary.
Jeez Milo, you get us all excited about your cruise with your dad, and then you want to get cold feet? Not now! We're all hanging on the edge of our keyboards with excitement, and your get cold feet now! Not now! Is it the packing that's making you nervous? What else is there? If you're paperwork is in order, you have the tickets in your sweaty palm, just get down to the wharf and wait mate. Wish it was me. I do get a smidge apprehensive when I set out with the van after a long park up, but it passes as I drive out the park gate. When I did the first couple of escort trips I was nervous because I was a newbie, even after all those miles, I was starting something new at 60 years of age. (I must be nuts!) It's just fear of the unknown. A whole new adventure. If you knew what it was going to be like, and you were apathetic about the trip, you'd be numb at the very least. It just means you're alive. It's so exciting for you and your Dad. I hope it's the experience of a lifetime, worthy of all this excitement. Just have fun, and don't forget to enjoy yourself. Oh, do you have the camera batteries charged? I, and probably everyone else, want pictures.

Wow, you head out on Wednesday Milo. Will be thinking of you on that lovely cruise as I travel down to Melbourne/Geelong by train for a stay at my sisters. Forgotten if you said how long you are going for. Will look forward to all the news on your return.
Milo, have a wonderful time and leave all your troubles at home when you and your Dad board the cruise ship on Wednesday - and please don't think of us freezing our butts off here in Canberra!!
Have fun,
Pejay

So what happened to the "cold feet" you mentioned at the beginning of this thread? It's interesting to look back over our emotions before we started out with something new, whether it be work, moving house or travelling. We can't go backwards, and in my case, that's a good thing. There are things I'd do differently, but I can only live in the "now" even though I have flash-backs to some of the less happy times. Life goes on. Halleujah!!!
