Lunch at Meningie

On our trip to the Barossa and beyond stopped at Meningie for lunch about midday on the 8th May a Jyaco expander pulled by a Nissan Navara pulled in over the way with gray streamers hanging from antenna, didn't take much notice untill down the road further it suddenly occurred to me that some Gray Nomad's have streamers instead of stickers, by the time I realised this it was to late to go back, Sorry about that no

Now at Apollo Bay

John

I'm not into stickers or streamers on my car or van, that's the reason I use a picture of my rig as an avatar so other "forumites" might recognise it if they come across it. The distinguishing feature is the checkerplate toolbox on the back bumper (which I don't use as a toolbox, "per se", as I'm conscious the weight)

PS: hope you enjoy Apollo Bay, I stayed there for several days last year, enjoyed it very much, stayed at Pisces CP.

John I watch every van I see and so far have not glimpsed either on the road, except Ma's that is. I will be rather excited when I do though. laughing.gif

My stickers were on the Hawk, there won't be any on the new van I don't think.

I have stickers and ribbons, but haven't been approached by other fellow nomads yet, and I've covered a lot of country since last October.

I have nomads sticker on car, and have spare wheel cover from another site - met several from that site over the years - no nomads yet, but haven't really been "out there" either.
