Just thinking how this may grow, possible fast, thinking maybe an idea to make it state based. Might make it easier to find someone or a park close to you when the need arises
Blaze, there are a few Ozzie sites around that you pick the state you want and it just shows whatever is available in that State, if that is what you mean. Could be a good idea, then if you want info from one state only you just click on that state to get it, this would be good for anyone in GN who is travelling in that particular state or for those only doing local stuff. I assume that is similar to what you are saying?

you are spot on Vic, If it is not state based it will get real hard to find what you are looking for with the amount of recomedations that may be entered over time. cheers blaze
I just added a couple using the town and state in the heading of either the caravan park or the mechanical thread. It sets up the reference point immediately.

If you know what town or area you are wanting to go to - you can put it in the "search" area at the top of the page, will bring up all posts relating to that place - i.e. Richmond Qld - don't know if this is specific enough or not though. Like Wombat had been looking for Mukinbudin -he asked the question, rang a bell with me - looked up map - found place then put it in "search" all posts relating to there were listed - including Wombats original posts. Worth a try anyway.

If all of us who post on the "Recommendations" thread were to put the name of the town in the subject line there wouldn't be any confusion at all when we use the "search" factor like Jules said
