My 2nd son, the one living up in Qld now, his first job was in Minyip after he came over from NZ. He was working on a grain farm of some sort. When I came over to visit him, this was before I had moved over, I stayed in the hotel. He boarded there while working, it was run by a kiwi couple at the time. That was probably about 15 to 17 years ago.
The other buildings used in The Flying Doctors are all still there too. Haven't been back since, sounds a good place to revisit.
hi Wanderer, yes its still pretty much the same, a nice safe friendly town, not many places left where you can go on a fortnights holiday and leave the front door wide open !!! (by accident !!) and that is common around here, everyone looks after everyone else, regards, delapan
