Recall on Prado Alloy Bullbars

Hello All
A friend recently took his 2005 Toyota Prado in for a service and was informed they would need they car all day as there is a recall on the bullbar and the brackets need replacing.
I enquired at our local Toyota dealer and they confirmed a recall but there is no mention on the recall website or letters from Toyota.
I have booked my 2006 Prado in to have it repaired.
If you have a Toyota Prado with alloy bullbar or even a landcruiser it may be worth checking with a dealer

Hello All
i had my bullbar brackets replaced today under the recall.
If you have a bullbar please get it checked by a dealer as it might be devastating if it falls off

Good on you gert
It is just annoying that the dealers can send reminders about serviceing but a recall ???  that is tooo hard
Time for the ACCC and the motoring bodies to take it up for all motorists
