If this is where I think it is, it's changed a bit since I was there. There where no stairs or decking to walk on.

 Got it in one Jeff, we were there May last year. Yes they've upgraded the deck & added seating. The walk in from from the steps is still a bit rough. Although Daless is probably the easiest Gorge to get into..

Lake Ballard is 192kms by road, Niagara Dam is 72 kms by road.

There is a Mount ???????, next to ??????? Dam.

The Golden Quest Trail took us there.
