Thanks Bill, yes I had forgotten that about Pussy cat flats, but of course. I remember the nice breezy area for happy hour in the club rooms.

Hi Stuart, Thanks  to your clues and my friend google, I think Ive sussed it?. Ben Boyd NP is around there and theres a walking track called Pinnacles. 
Very  pretty indeed, thanks for the photo, sorry it was a bit quiet on our end. Am I correct?

My first educated guess is Puntapin Rock, in WA Wheat  Belt
