If not the Stromatolites on the way to Denham, maybe the Thrombolites in Lake Clifton, south of Mandurah. WA.

Gwynne was the first to mention "stromatolites", you win the prize

PS: These stromatolites live in Lake Thetis near Cervantes

hmm Thanks guys, I saw the Shark Bay ones on my way through Western Australia in December 2016 very impressive!

I am on Kangaroo Island so I will need to look through my photos to find something.  Where would I be to see this tower city view?

First hint: The Tower I took this photo from has the name of a BANK.  Good luck, Gwynne floating.gif

Hi Guys, are you still in WA?  Would the photo be taken near Leonora at the Gwalia open cut Gold mine?  Visited the area in 2016 with my brother and sister-in-law and saw a similar site.   Gwynne floating.gif

I should have known you would get this one Gwynne, you also got my Sandstone one a while back. We did a similar trip to your 2016 one, all through the old gold mining towns in WA.
