Good morning everyone, it's not in the Rollingstone, Babinda, Nambour or Bundy regions!
The giveaway was indeed the mountain in the background and as Dunmowin says...... it is Mt. Warning well done!. The mountain will always hold a special place in my heart. As (a young teenager) I grew up in the Tweed Valley and woke up every morning to this fabulous sight. Yes... the name of the sugar mill is correct too, it is the CONDONG Sugar Mill. My older brothers were part of the cane cutting gangs who in the 60's cut the blackened cane by hand for the local growers. Gwynnie

Hey sorry guys, probably a bit hard, unless you were a geocacher in Victoria. We were travelling along the Western Highway, from Great Western towards Ararat. There was a geocache coming up soon called "one for the husbands". We stopped there on the corner of Kennel Road, and found this cute little construction. Each kennel had it's own dog outside. So cute.
Probably a bit hard. (oh, we did find the cache)
Here is something easier. We visited this site this day in 2014. Nice little freedom camp close by.
Gwynnie I'd say you are right.. My photo ID came up as Nurrungar and Google says that's 3 mins from the Pimba South Rest area so I reckon it's the same thing. Good view from there!
Yeah, don't you just love it when others have been, seen and conquered the same area. Did not stopover myself, (too much of a led foot) but know people who have.
Keeping with roadside themes...... Has anyone seen this unusual agricultural display and know where it is located? Gwynnie
