RE: PICK THIS PLACE

and Gooba, you should always go with your first instincts.

We visited this area first back in 2009 at Christmas. We went for a walk over the pound before sunrise. Would have to be one of my most favourite parts of Australia.

Where to now.

Dare I say 'in front of the camera'!

Sorry gooba53, couldn't resist :)

I would say Northern queensland but couldn't narrow it further.

Thanks Dianne, (just in from the shearing shed for lunch)

I have stood on that exact spot in July last year and one standing at the signage, 'You are standing at the most northerly tip of Australia' ! Definitely the biggest OMG moment of my entire trip around Australia on the big loop road!!!

Where would you find this ferry crossing confuse    Gwynnie floating.gif

Could it be Muttaburra.

Cancel that.

I have a fair idea where it is but it coming up to 20 years since we were there last and it has had a major refurbishment.

I will wait a bit before guessing.

JeffRae in this big beautiful country you are very very close. It is however a rough 100km away from your guess.

From your hint it must be Two Peoples Bay out of Albany

I have a photo taken from the same spot, although it was much sunnier when you took your picture.
