I am in WA, but not down south (Collie is very nice and close to home)The town is at one end of a significant engineering feat.

Yes Bobdown, I am at the end of the C Y O'Connor pipeline at Mt Charlotte Reservoir in Kalgoorlie.

Penong it is, home to "Bruce" the 35 foot diameter (10.6metres) windmill

Yes Jeff, I have a pic of Bruce somewhere.....Stopped at the general store heading West on a Saturday at 1.00 pm, sign says last shop for 1000 km and was closed. haha only wanted an ice cream or something like.
