Hi all, Darryl and I returned from our trip last Tuesday. We picked up our van on the 12th August and then headed out on our shakedown trip on the 26th august. We headed to Macksville NSW then on to Port Macquarie. After spending time with relatives we headed to Taree and then Raymond Terrace. From there we visited friends in Maitland and headed to Lithgow via Denman. We were in Wallerawang (near Lithgow) for 2 weeks then headed to Condobolin for two weeks. Whilst there we participated in the 'Campertrailer National Gathering' with over 90 campertrailers, caravan, campervans, tents from all over Australia all gathered in the one spot. We left there and headed to Maryborough Queensland via Goondiwindi and Dalby. We spent a great week there enduring temperatures as high as 35 degrees followed by four days of rain and intense wind. On our way home from Maryborough we stopped in at the Brisbane International Airport (with the van in tow) and picked up our son who returned from 2 years in the UK. We have had a very busy week since then and are preparing for a Welcome Home BBQ this sunday with 30 of his close friends and family. The picture is of the tug and tow in a free stop just after Kumbarilla Qld. Barb
