Could anyone tell me what sort of work is involved in being a casual vineyard hand? Hylda & I are not the fittest people going around, I have a touchy back & also get short of breath easily so am not sure if I can handle it. What are the different types of jobs which entail the term 'Vineyard Hand.
If we have reason, we will stay in the Margaret River area for a few months as it is a lovely place so it would be nice to supplement our income a little whilst here.

It could involve all manner of things. We spent a week pruning vines and found it very hard on the wrist and feet. suggest you contact employer and ask what they require. Good luck.
