This camp site was built in Feb this year it is a 48 hour stop but volunteers have said you can stay longer if you take care of what has been provided for you. Hot showers 6 mintues $2 power 3hrs $1 all metered water is available also electric B.B.Q not sure if you have to pay for this or not Very friendly local people will be in camps 6 next year. It is off the Oxley Highway just past Coonabaraabran in N.S.W. well signposted. Helena.
Friends of ours from WA camped at Binnaway for 2 nights and were very impressed. They too said the local people were nice and the toilet block was very nice and clean. Someone came morning and night to clean them. Also said a good steak sandwich and chips was not to be missed and the local pub. Good on you Binnaway, you are a small country town with local people interested in their township !!
We stayed at Binnaway for 7 days recently and found it to be a wonderful little spot. The people who established the free camping area came and introduced themselves and told us to stay as long as we want. Wonderful little town.
