I have just joined and love camping of all types and thought this link may be helpful.

It would also be good to get a list of 'doggy day care' places so we can go to the parts that don't allow them, like NP's.

Totally agree with Allara, this will be one of our issues when we hit the road.  Lets start a list of
"doggy day care"
